**About the position:**

This position will be assigned to the Sakakawea Inn on Minot AFB.

This is a Flexible (FLEX) position. A Flex (Intermittent) schedule does not have guaranteed hoursand you may work 0-40 hours per week as needed by the facility.

**Responsibilities**

Receives and confirms room reservations; registers and assigns rooms to guests; makes and issues room keys. Calculates and posts charges to patrons' accounts; accepts payment by cash or credit card, makes changes and issues guest receipts. Maintains and sells sundry items. May prepare daily cashier's report, daily activity report and/or consolidated daily activity report.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

**Qualifying Experience:**

Experience in general clerical or cashier work. Must have the ability to perform and resolve common arithmetic problems when receiving and making change for customers. Background in hotel hospitality is desired. Must meet state and legal age requirement for sale of alcoholic beverages.

**Education**

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position doe not allow for education substitution.
