QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)

Education and/or years' experience required:

  • Prefer a minimum of two years general recruiting experience or
  • A.A.S. degree in human resources.
  • Entry Level
Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Strong detail and excellent follow-through.
Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable):
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITES
  • Create and publish job postings accordingly on company and various job boards.
  • Communicates with hiring manager on process, ensure correct forms are completed and follow up before and after process to ensure needs have been met.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying information, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Creates, updates and reviews job descriptions as needed.
  • Arrange interviews by coordinating schedules, arranges travel and lodging if necessary.
  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current laws and regulations, discusses liability with hiring manager and conduct training where needed.
  • Conducts the interview process; creates and updates interview questions as needed in accordance to state and federal guidelines.
  • Prepare and conduct new hire orientation, review benefit enrollment, ensure I-9 documentation is completed correctly, W-4 and other necessary forms are completed and entered accurately in HRIS system; ensure paperwork is submitted to payroll in a timely manner.
  • Discuss current and future hiring needs with hiring manager to ensure hiring needs are met.
  • Attend job fairs at various vendors to obtain interest from students, new graduates and seasoned candidates.
  • Provide support on HR projects and activities as requested.
  • Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
  • Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
  • Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
