**Description**

The Material Handler receives and issues inventory to/from the manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for properly identifying and inventorying material all material and equipment from receiving and production.

**Responsibilities**

* Receiving and placing material and equipment into stock from Receiving and Manufacturing.

* Responsible for the receipt of materials into the Raw Materials Management database.

* Restock picking locations as needed

* Tracking and monitoring inventory levels

* Conduct regularly scheduled stock counts

* Making sure incoming material is labeled

* Follow established process for control of final material. Including material management for inventory, storage

* Pulling material from stock to build

* Verify all materials during fulfillment process to ensure first time-right mentality

* Load material into company van

* Deliver material to people or companies via company van

* Filling and accounting for material requisitions submitted by Manufacturing

* Maximizing inventory control

* Conduct regularly scheduled stock counts

* Help develop methods for inspection, material control, and shipping

**Required Skills**

* 1-year of warehousing experience preferred

* 1-year forklift experience preferred

* Detail oriented

* Attention to detail

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* A good understanding of First In First Out/First Expire First Out practices

**Must-Haves**

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Ability to lift to 50 pounds

* Willingness to wear required approve Safety Shoes at all times

* Valid Drivers License

**Working Conditions/Physical Requirements**

This position operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, file cabinets and fax machines. It also uses a hand cart, pallet jack, forklift and other material handling devices.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and use arms, hands and fingers for various activities. This position may stand or remain sedentary for long periods of time. This position routinely works with large pieces of equipment.

**Work Hours/Shift**

Monday through Friday - 8 am - 5 pm
