As a Dishwasher, you will enrich lives each day by helping to maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen alongside other members of our Dining Services team. An organized kitchen is necessary in order for Touchmark residents and guests to receive the highest quality meals possible, and that all begins with you! Meals cant be cooked, plated, or served without clean utensils, dishes, and equipment, and by taking ownership of this responsibility and anticipating the needs of the kitchen, you will help to ensure that everyone on your team is successful.

This is a Part Time position, PM weekends.

No experience is necessary, but you must:

* Have a commitment to Touchmarks values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers

* Be willing to maintain a safe and clean kitchen by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, sanitizing and stocking dishes and utensils, and correctly and safely operating kitchen equipment

* Enjoy working both independently and as part of a large team

* Be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time

* Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, team members and visitors

**Essential Functions:**

- Ability to follow oral and written instructions;

- Read, write and speak English;

- Physically capable of turning, stooping, bending, stretching, moving equipment and

performing other related tasks;

- After receiving the appropriate training, must be able to operate standard kitchen equipment required for position;

- Must be able to tolerate standing for periods up to two hours at a time;

- Ability to perform a variety of repetitive tasks with high accuracy within a noisy

environment;

- Must be able to demonstrate and use proper safety and lifting techniques.

**Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:**

- Maintain hand and working surface sanitation at all times, according to specifications given;

- Maintain neat and orderly appearance with clean uniform at beginning of each job shift;

- Set up dish machine for use;

- Deliver meals as designated by daily task list;

- Wash dishes left from previous shifts and proceed with dishes from other meals;

- Empty garbage after dishes are all finished from each meal and reline;

- Follow daily task list

- Empty and clean dish machine, clean filters;

- Sweep and mop dish machine area;
