The Regional Leasing Specialist is an expert at driving results to maximize occupancy levels at each managed property. The Regional Leasing Specialist brings exceptional experiences to life every day for our prospects and future residents through active engagement in the marketing of properties. The Regional Leasing Specialist partners with prospective residents through the leasing workflow. The Regional Leasing Specialist plays a critical role in helping drive results in the properties they support by training and mentoring fellow team members to achieve and maintain maximum occupancy of assigned properties.

The Regional Leasing Specialist will focus on delivering exceptional customer service and quality that is the Goldmark differentiator.

Starting pay $19 per hour (or more based on experience) + commissions!

Live and work with Goldmark and receive a generous RENT DISCOUNT as a part-time or full-time team member.

Job Duties Include:

  • Advertise and market properties daily by use of social media and other marketing platforms.
  • Tour and present the property and available apartment homes with prospective residents and apply product knowledge to close the sale.
  • Use customer management systems daily to build relationships with prospective and current residents ensuring all communication is documented.
  • Have immediate and continued follow up with prospective residents to assist in finding a home within the Goldmark Portfolio.
  • Manage the leasing process from start to finish in accordance with company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
  • Master the market in which they're working to understand who the primary competitors are and how to best overcome objections.
  • Mentor, teach, guide, & train leasing specialists during any downtime.
  • Travel from property to property throughout the Fargo/Moorhead Region as needed to assist in maximizing occupancy (travel stipend is provided).
  • Assignments are mostly given with a minimum of 2 weeks at any given location.
Experience and Education:
  • A High School degree or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in property management or a related industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance per company requirement.
  • Demonstrated sales skills and aptitude with confidence and proven track record in closing the sale.
  • Customer service experience and a strong customer service mind-set.
  • Self-driven with an ability to manage time, multi-task, and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Team player who works well and supports everyone to achieve our goals and objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Word, Outlook and Excel as well as Yardi preferred.
