Description of the Role

The Housekeeping Manager at Holiday Inn Express Fargo - West Acres is responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping operations of the hotel. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of all hotel areas
  • Managing the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Inspecting rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
  • Utilizing computer equipment to assign rooms, use email and other items as assigned
  • Ordering, inventory and maintaining housekeeping supplies and equipment
  • Handling guest inquiries and complaints related to housekeeping
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Requirements
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
