What we do:

The Village Family Service Center is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist who will have a mind for numbers and the ability to navigate billing systems. Duties will include:

• Collect on accounts by contacting clients regarding unpaid balances
• Identify and find resolutions to medical insurance claim rejections or denials
• Perform eligibility verification checks for client appointments
• Coordinate, monitor and maintain the credentialing and re-credentialing process of therapists
• Prepare weekly & monthly insurance billings and reports as needed
• Accurately post payments received from insurance and clients into billing system
• Field questions from clients about their accounts
• Stay up to date on medical insurance payers and claims requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and optimize efficiency

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, time management, and customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Coding & billing knowledge.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• 2 years of college or 3 years equivalent experience preferred but not required
