Job Title: CVOR Tech Job Specialty: OR Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days (0630-1500 or 10-hour shifts, schedule flexibility required) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years CVOR experience License: Must be registered as Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) under the relevant Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS (must be American Heart Association certified) Must-Have: - Experience with orthopedic, plastic surgery, and ENT procedures (pediatric and adult) - Experience with Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, or Striker systems - Experience in a large hospital or Level 1 trauma center - Experience with robotics Job Description: - Perform surgical and operating room duties as assigned, adhering to established policies and procedures. - Support surgeons and healthcare team members in delivering effective surgical care, primarily in cardiovascular procedures. - Potential for floating to other operating rooms as required. - Assist with scheduled cases by staying late as needed; this is considered an extension of the regular shift. - Participate in the call rotation, 1 to 2 shifts per week, and every 3rd or 4th weekend. - Orientation and training provided for up to one week at the start of the assignment, with contract extension to cover the training period. - Work within a department that includes 30 operating rooms. - Follow the dress code, wearing surgical scrubs provided by the organization.
