We're looking for someone who considers themselves equal parts designer and engineer and loves to operate in the space where the two disciplines meet. You're passionate about collaborating on ideas as part of a team then bringing those ideas to life in the form of real, tangible, high-fidelity prototypes, proofs-of-concept, and design tools. In terms of core skill set, you look like a front-end engineer, but you think like a designer. You have a strong eye for detail and biases towards speed, innovation, and the end user experience. You're a self-starter and take initiative; you seize opportunities rather than waiting for tasks to be assigned. You're comfortable working independently and as part of a squad.
You'll be joining a small, but mighty Design Engineering team which sits within the Viewing Experience, Product and Design organization at Peacock. Our team's mission is to “bring ideas to life, enabling innovation through experimentation and automation”. Your primary function on this team will be to build prototypes that explore new features and experiences for the Peacock app across all platforms. Additionally, you'll build utilities and Figma plugins that automate processes and help our designers do their jobs faster and better.
