The Cash Management Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of moderately complex electronic banking tasks related to support of the organizations' electronic banking products and services. The position specializes in business functions such as customer and employee education, risk mitigation and technical support. The role includes development and engagement of Choice's electronic banking products and services, sales support and relationship management as well as customer and employee education and technical support.
Customer Service
- Build and maintain customer relationships through electronic banking products and services
- Provide a full range of technical, and general support for customers and bank personnel
- Collaborates with other teams to identify customer prospects and develop them into customers using electronic banking products and services
- Help onboard new & existing clients and provide customer service to electronic banking customers
- Relationship Management by developing & maintaining sales processes, documentation, and customer feedback related to electronic banking
- Understand and utilize the CRM system to manage client relationships.
Cash Management Services- Collaborates with various teams to setup customers with a variety of electronic banking products and services
- Combines business (marketing, sales, banking) skills with knowledge of computer & mobile devices & applications
- Maintains and develops electronic banking product and service knowledge within Choice Financial and among our competitors and industry
- Continually researches new electronic banking products and services, with an emphasis on business
- Analyzes market and customer needs to recommend appropriate products
- Conduct eServices presentations to new and/or existing customers
- Recommends products based on customer needs.
Education & Training - Provide a full range of professional, technical and general support to customers and employees
- Conduct eServices education for bank locations and/or specific teams and bankers.
- Collaborates with Marketing to create and deploy promotional, informational, and educational pieces relating to electronic banking products and services
- Seeks out financial technology education & events relating to electronic banking products & services
Risk Mitigation - Understand the Secondary Credit Exposure Manual content and be a resource to staff regarding the manual.
- Determine appropriate responses to client requests, the approval necessary and ongoing risk mitigation.
- Monitor daily ACH, Wire and RD transactions investigation and documenting returns, duplicates, fraud activity, exceptions, etc.
- Review and approve ACH and Wire Transfer's with SCEM guidelines.
- Assist Cash Management roles in managing and evaluating the overall risk related to Cash Management products and services, providing appropriate recommendations.
- Conduct or facilitate Cash management reviews in a timely manner, bringing al concerns to the corresponding leader and making appropriate risk rating and limit change suggestions as necessary.
- Understand and identify trends related to fraud in the current market place to mitigate potential loss for the organization.
Other Administrative Responsibilities - Performs a variety of routine daily tasks; reviews reports; prepares correspondence; and participates in special department projects
- Contains knowledge of financial products and services
- Contains knowledge and complies with policies and procedures
- Performs duties outside normal scope as assigned.
Qualifications - 2 to 4 years of relevant experience with requisite competencies.
- 2-year Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in financial/bank operations with High School Diploma Equivalent.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the banking industry.
- Performs assigned duties within the department and focuses primarily in day to day technical/operational tasks.
- Works under direct supervision.

The base compensation for this role will begin at $20.78/hour and up to $31.17/hour. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. The base salary may vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, experience and geographic location. Full time employees are also eligible for a competitive bonus and benefits package.
