Prairie Public Broadcasting, a regional nonprofit, seeks a highly motivated and detail oriented person to assist with the financial operations of the company. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely accounting records for our cash receipts and accounts receivable, and reconciliations. The Accounting Specialist ensures the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, assists with the accounts payable function, and other bookkeeping duties as assigned.

An ideal candidate will have great attention to deal, strong analytical skills, experience with Microsoft Excel and knowledge of general accounting and accounting principles. Must have an Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years of experience. Or; an equivalent combination of education and experience.
