ANNUAL SALARY: $67,922 - $73,889

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE NEEDED

High School Diploma and Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office software, and civil design software. Ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment. Effective public relations skills and the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others.

GENERAL DUTIES

Perform all design activities on road and drainage projects.

Activities include, but are not limited to; preliminary project planning, preparation of technical project reports preparation of project plans and specifications, estimating project quantities and cost, field surveys, design coordination, and right of way acquisition.

Construction project administration activities including construction supervision, quality assurance, project safety, compliance with contract administrative requirements. Preparation of technical reports and bid documents, research and respond to routine inquiries from the general public.
