What You'll be Doing:

• Process weekly payroll for multiple entities with accuracy and timeliness
• Manage garnishments, child support, and certified payroll reporting
• Ensure compliance with multi-state tax laws and prevailing wage requirements
• Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings (941s, W-2s, ACA, etc.)
• Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain clean, confidential payroll records and track employee benefit deductions
• Collaborate with the accounting team on special projects and reporting
• Audit timesheets and assist with compliance documentation

Who We're Looking For:

• Associate's degree in accounting or 2+ years of payroll experience required
• Experience in construction, utilities, or project-based payroll is a big plus
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable using accounting/payroll software
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities
• Strong communicator and proactive problem-solver
• Able to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with regulations
