Residential Program Assistant (Overnight) - Red River Recovery Center

Red River Recovery Center is looking to add a part-time overnight employee to join our team. Shifts are every other Friday and Saturday 11pm-7:30am.

Overview

Red River Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Program Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Residential Program Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing support and assistance to our clients within our residential treatment program. You will work closely with our residential treatment staff to ensure the smooth operation of our facility and contribute to creating a safe and nurturing environment for our clients.

Duties include:

• Monitoring client behavior/interactions.
• Documenting information to be passed on to coworkers.
• Overseeing self-administration of client medications, documenting accordingly.
• Performing two room checks to account for each client in bed after curfew.
• Monitoring medication books and creating an end of day report for missed medications.
• Counting Schedule II medications for accuracy
• Creating new medication sheets for med book (once monthly).
• Generating reorder medication sheets for clients (every other week).
• Cleaning front lobby and back staff office.
• Laundering bedding and linens.
• Packing/Cleaning any unoccupied client rooms

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two years of experience working in a residential treatment or similar setting.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft word and Excel.
• Successful completion of background checks, including criminal and employment history.

Compensation
$21 per hour
