As a kitchen helper, you will: Support kitchen staff in the preparation, production and service of culturally inspired meals Work with a diverse team under the direction of culinary staff Present delicious, safe, fresh food that is cooked to the specifications for the meal Job Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of food through multiple methods, using industrial equipment (we will train) Assist in maintaining safety & sanitation standards in food handling and preparation Wash dishes and maintain clean work areas, equipment, utensils and surfaces Provide excellent services to guests Minimum Qualifications Familiarity with food service and food safety methods is desirable but not necessary Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented Flexibility in scheduling (primarily on weekends, including holidays) concurrent with program needs Pass a background check in accordance with local labor laws At least 18 years old Ability to read recipes in English Preferred Qualifications Pos...Kitchen Staff, Staff, Kitchen, Student, Restaurant, Education
