WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Operating several pieces of dirt work equipment including, but not limited to Dozer, Track loader, Excavator, Skid steer, Tractor, and Backhoe. Assists crew in daily operations on assigned job sites.
  • Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the plant and yard area by using general housekeeping practices.
  • Perform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties. Work is inspected periodically for safety and economy in operation. Perform pre-shift inspections on mobile equipment.
  • Performs emergency and routine repairs and maintenance on plant equipment and structures at the site locations. May perform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning. Conducts routine inspections of plant and mobile equipment. Grease and fuel mobile equipment.
  • Follows all safety, compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards.
  • To act in a safe manner, aware and willing to act upon observing any unsafe practices.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment.
  • Conducts routine inspections on mobile equipment and Trucks.
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Must be able to prioritize work.
  • All other tasks Assigned by manager.
  • Shift Differential available.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High School Diploma/GED

Field of Study Preferred: General

Required Work Experience: One year of experience as a heavy equipment operator is preferred. Knowledge of and ability to operate several pieces of dirt work equipment including, but not limited to Dozer, Track loader, Excavator, Skid steer, Tractor, and Backhoe. Manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, good physical fitness, a good sense of balance, and an ability to work as a member of a team. May be required to work nigh shift.

Travel Requirements: 0-10%

Additional Requirements:
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
