Description & Details: Determine degree progress and graduation eligibility for undergraduate students and ensure the consistent application of university academic policy and procedures. Evaluate student records for accuracy and completeness, including providing an official degree audit identifying missing graduation requirements. Ensure accuracy of the Advisement Report and adhere to all federal, state and institutional policies and procedures related to FERPA and student privacy.
Work Schedule: M-F; 8 AM - 5 PM (summer 7:30 AM - 4 PM)
Hiring Range: $40,000 - $42,500 + DOE
Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel; highly organized with an attention to detail; ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats; ability to work with diverse populations; maintain discretion and confidentiality; consistently meets deadlines; maintain cooperative relationships
Preferred Qualifications: Prior work in an institution of higher education or other school settings; experience working in a student information system
Core Competencies: Detail oriented; team orientated with the ability to work autonomously on projects; analytical with excellent problem solving; flexible and can move between projects quickly; customer focused.
