Pharmacy Technician

The Fargo VA Healthcare System is recruiting for an intermittent (casual) Pharmacy Technician. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting prescriptions, preparing compounded sterile preparations, dispensing medications, delivering medications to patient areas, repackaging medications, assisting with inventory management, operating pharmacy equipment, and complying with regulations. The work schedule is intermittent (casual) and the position is not available for telework or virtual work. Requirements include being a U.S. citizen, proficiency in English, and passing a drug test. Basic qualifications include citizenship, English language proficiency, and education or experience equivalent to at least 100%. Certification is required for positions above the full performance level. The full performance level of this vacancy is GS-6.
