The Construction Loan Analyst I is responsible for performing support duties related to the construction process. These tasks include necessary processes to maintain accurate system records, post transactions, review construction draws, and review loan documentation. This position is responsible to communicate with customers, team members, builders, inspectors, and third parties. This position must always stay aware of and adhere to established policies and procedures to ensure alignment with bank, state and federal guidelines and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review in-house, commercial, and correspondent construction draw information, fund draw requests, and communicate with all parties on the status while adhering to established controls and procedures
  • Order inspections as needed
  • Fund draw request timely and accurately
  • Maintain records and ticklers on construction projects including percentage complete, inspection fees, and relationships with inspectors
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with Bank personnel, general contractors, and external inspectors
  • Provide customer service to team members and customers to include answering inquiries relative to loan files, account balances, loan balances, payoff requests, etc.
  • Assist in creating, building, and updating procedures, processes, and systems.
  • Provide timely reporting
  • Prepare budget analysis, evaluate supporting documentation received from borrowers and third-parties to confirm the project is on budget, that the borrower has injected the appropriate equity, all change orders are properly funded, and draw requests are documented accurately
  • Assist with department projects and initiatives
  • Maintain 360 View pipeline and other reports
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned

This is a full-time position with benefits.

Associate's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting required with previous internship experience preferred.
