Primary Location: United States (US)- North Dakota - Fargo Function: Engineering (CA) Title: Staff Software Architect-110128 Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position Your Responsibilities Provide system level technical leadership and mentoring to team members across multiple electrification projects including inverters, converters, controllers, Battery Management Systems (BMS), and chargers. Define electrification module integration architectures to effectively meet electric drive system needs with close collaboration with other architects across different functionalities and system levels. Support module competency and technology roadmap planning with an emphasis on module reuse with the goal of optimizing development and testing efficiency. Interface with external stakeholders and lead definition, design, and training of new module-level features and interfaces. VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position. What Skills You Need 8 or more years of hands-on working experience in embedded software or system development. 5 or more years of experience in project leadership for complex embedded projects planning, development, and delivery. 3 or more years authoring system-level requirements and working across teams on implementation. Demonstrated ability to gather and understand applications of vehicle level electric drive system requirements. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills to support team and project leadership responsibilities, representing the product line in strategic discussions and project status reports. What Makes You Stand Out 2 or more years of project experience with electrification modules such as inverters, converters, BMS, and chargers. Strong technical understanding of electrification modules and integration with systems. Experience specifying or configuring Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS). Systems engineering training/certification. Project experience with functional safety and/or cybersecurity requirements and their impact on electrification module and SW feature development. Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Computer, Agricultural, or Mechanical).
