As an experienced product leader, you'll have a strong understanding on how to effectively own a product revenue line developing a successful strategy from ideation of new product lines and offers, development of those ideas, managing their existence, and ultimately knowing when to terminate them. You will be a natural leader who is effective at handling not only product activities but at leading cross-functional teams to achieve goals. You will have a drive personality and a can-do attitude with a focus on priorities to drive results.
For this role we are seeking a highly experienced individual with experience developing and leading a cybersecurity portfolio for a network or managed service provider. This is not a role for those seeking to manage projects or user stories but for someone who, at their core, wants to build solutions to help our customers protect their networks and systems.
Experience evaluating and managing premise, in-line, and cloud firewalls, policy creation on layers 3-7.
Understand and engage in conversations on how enterprises utilize MDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR, etc. to improve business uptime and security posture.
Can easily explain zero trust network philosophy and how it protects corporate assets.
Experience with SD-WAN/SASE, etc. is highly desired.
Knowledge of IAM and DLP a plus.
Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy and work with cross-functional team leaders
Execute product strategies and policies while guiding product management practices and standards
Set standard pricing and packaging for products
Create product tools and training for sales enablement
Drive and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance and make product decisions based on data
Collaborate with product operations, engineering, technology, service delivery, marketing and others to implement product strategy and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives
Lead product owner team priorities for agile and scrum methodologies
Direct continuous product discovery, market research, and competitor research to keep up to date on product trends and offerings
Develop and launch new products and features
Proven ability to identify and resolve conflicts and roadblocks within project process
Communicate project scope, open items, and issues / risks to the leadership team
Performs all other duties as assigned
Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA+ Security, GSEC, etc. highly desired.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field. MBA a significant plus.
8+ years managing security and similar technologies for a network or managed services provider.
Outstanding leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong financial analysis skills especially in business case development and forecasting.
Demonstrated experience in agile methodologies and data-driven decision making
Strong analytical skills and excellent project management skills
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative strategies and overcome challenge
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
Highly motivated, results-oriented, with a strategic mindset
Occasional travel required

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $120,000 - $140,000
