Position Overview:

As a Cath Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in performing invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, as well as electrophysiology procedures. You will utilize advanced imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, and recording equipment to assess and treat patients suffering from cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, record, and analyze patients' electrocardiograms (EKG) and intracardiac pressures.
• Assist medical teams with sterile procedures and be proficient in operating X-ray and laboratory equipment.
• Run blood samples and manage sterile supply needs.
• Work collaboratively with patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.
• Dedicate attention to electrophysiology (EP) procedures and manage technological devices such as pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs).
• Ensure high-quality care for patients with rhythm disturbances and advanced cardiac arrhythmias.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent experience is required.
• Expertise in pharmacologic treatment options and advanced cardiac rhythm management is essential.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) is required within 18 months of hire; Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification is preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferable as applicable.

Working Hours:

Full-time position with a work schedule of 8-hour day shifts (7:30am - 5:30pm). No call required.

Salary Range: $34.00 - $49.50 per hour, based on experience.
