Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Controls Engineer/Programmer to join our team in the Fargo-Moorhead area. This is an onsite position located at 3441 Interstate Blvd, Fargo, ND 58103. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming and commissioning commercial HVAC control systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS). This role offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary, IRA, health insurance, holiday/vacation pay, and potential sign-on and incentive bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Implement software code and manage all aspects of software code delivery and commissioning for commercial HVAC control systems and Building Automation Systems.
• Program projects with various levels of complexity, including custom control programs and sequence of operations.
• Perform network troubleshooting, database troubleshooting, and repair programming.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on system configuration, network and software requirements, graphics, programming, and sequence of operations for assigned projects.
• Configure Supervisor computers, graphics, databases, networks, and integrations.
• Develop programming, graphics, and sequences of operations for DDC systems.
• Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation.
• Record and communicate deviations to the project team.
• Execute system commissioning, functional testing, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Niagara N4 certification and current Niagara programming experience.
• Experience with Honeywell, Johnson FX, Distech, Vykon, Lynxspring, Alerton, Talon, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls Metasys, or similar HVAC controls.
• Relevant technical education and/or trade-related experience.
• Ability to program complex custom control programs and sequence operations.
• Strong network and database troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with commercial HVAC control systems and Building Automation Systems is a plus.
• Collaboration skills on system configurations and software requirements.
• Commissioning and functional testing expertise.
