Plumbing (Pvc) Expert

Job Type: Full-time, but possibly part-time

Rate: $28-$36 an hour, can be negotiable if candidate has extensive experience

Expected Hours: Not less than 20 hours per week if part time, 40-60 hours a week full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking a Plumbing Expert to join our team! This role is ideal for someone with deep knowledge of PVC piping systems, fittings, adhesives, and hydraulic applications. The Plumbing Expert will be responsible for ensuring all plumbing installations are performed correctly, safely, and in compliance with hydraulic specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish equipment room layouts
• Review and validate plumbing installations to ensure compliance with hydraulic specifications and safety standards
• Provide expert guidance on the selection, handling, and application of PVC pipes, fittings, and adhesives
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing-related issues
• Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks on plumbing systems and installations
• Develop and maintain documentation and best practices for plumbing applications
• Train staff and contractors in proper plumbing techniques and safety protocols
• Stay current with industry standards, codes, and innovations in plumbing and hydraulics

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years in plumbing, HVAC, or hydraulic engineering roles

Certification in plumbing inspection or related technical fields

Experience in construction or industrial plumbing environments

Strong understanding of adhesives and fitting techniques for PVC and other plumbing materials

Familiarity with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and hydraulic principles

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
