Patient Services Specialist

What We're Looking For:

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in healthcare or customer service preferred
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Comfort working with diverse populations
• Epic experience is a plus, but training is provided

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
• Register new and returning patients accurately in the system
• Collect and process co-pays and other payments
• Update and maintain patient demographic and health information
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
• Respond to patient inquiries via phone and in person professionally
• Assist with other front desk and registration duties as needed
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality

• Prior appointment scheduling experience (preferred)
• Previous computer and customer service experience (required)
