Litigation Associate Attorney Property & Auto Liability (Remote, Texas Licensed)

Base pay range: $115,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr

Must have Texas license. Fully remote position with preference for candidates based in or near the Houston area.

Overview

We are a dynamic litigation firm specializing in insurance defense, with a focus on property and casualty matters. The firm is expanding its liability defense practice in Texas, managing a growing caseload involving property damage, premises liability, and auto-related claims. The role supports expanding litigation needs in Texas and can be performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Defend clients in general liability cases, including premises liability, property damage, and auto-related claims.
• Handle cases from inception through resolution, including written discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Develop and execute case strategies in collaboration with firm leadership and clients.
• Maintain communication with clients and internal teams to ensure efficient and responsive case management.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on property liability and/or auto liability defense.
• Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently in a remote work environment.
