Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years acute hospital experience (level 1 trauma center preferred). The ideal candidate will have experience with robotics (DaVinci system preferred), Neuro/Ortho procedures, and a strong background in ENT and general surgery.

Requirements:

• Valid ND or Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years recent OR RN experience
• Experience in a hospital with 250+ beds and 15+ OR suites
• Comfortable with computerized charting (Epic) and OR equipment such as cautery, lasers, laparoscopic, arthroscopy, and Stealth navigation
• Ability to float to other campus as needed (rare)

Job Details:

• Circulating nurse duties including sterile prepping, catheter insertion, patient positioning, documentation, and equipment setup
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• 25 OR suites with 75-100 cases/day
• Shift rotation including call one day/week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
• Ceil blue scrubs provided
