Concrete Flatwork Foreman

Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring Concrete Flatwork Foremen for commercial projects in the Fargo, ND area. The pay range is $30–$35 per hour based on experience. All foremen are scheduled 40+ hours a week. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven leaders. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.

Ultimate Job Duties

• Lead and supervise concrete flatwork crews on commercial job sites

• Set concrete forms and ensure layout is accurate and to spec

• Oversee pour, finishing, and curing of concrete flatwork

• Coordinate deliveries, material usage, and crew assignments

• Perform quality checks and ensure proper finishing techniques

• Maintain daily progress logs and safety reports

• Communicate with general contractors and project managers

• Train and mentor crew members

• 3–5 years of experience in concrete flatwork or related role

• Ability to research and evaluate data affecting concrete project costs

• Must be able to read and follow blueprints

• Responsible for reviewing quality of work, jobsite safety, and equipment care

• Help enforce company policies and ensure adherence to job descriptions

• Work professionally with superintendents, engineers, architects, and clients

• Ensure crew efficiency and provide accurate information in a timely manner

• Review weekly timesheets for accuracy

• Manage job-related paperwork promptly

• Lead by example with strong communication and leadership

• Demonstrate effective problem-solving and conflict resolution

• Motivate teams without using profanity or demeaning language

Ultimate Concrete Flatwork Foreman Requirements

• 3+ years of concrete flatwork and finishing experience

• 2+ years of leadership or foreman experience in construction

• Appropriate PPE (hard hat, vest, steel toe boots)

• Must have basic hand tools to perform trade

• Ability to perform regular standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs without assistance

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Ability to read blueprints and perform layout from drawings

• Drug Test Required
