Salary Range: $20/hr - $24/hr DOE; monetary bonus paid upon completion of Life and Health Insurance License
Hours: Monday - Friday and offers flexibility of part-time or full-time hours, but must work mornings and be in the office by 8:30am
Type: Temporary to Hire (temp-to-hire)

Description: Organization/Business Overview:
Local finance company with a quiet office is looking for an individual with a passion for helping clients, enjoys answering the phone, and who wants to build a true caring relationship with each of our clients. Their clients truly ARE family, so they need someone who is compassionate about people and enjoys conversations with clients. This Administrative Assistant position is an integral member of the team and represents agents and the organization. This position supports daily operations of the practice including responding to client service requests, completing pre and post meeting work, maintaining client information and confidentiality, and other administrative tasks as assigned. This role has an immediate growth track to the Office Manager (Insurance Licensed) role if desired, with the expectation that they complete training and testing to receive Life and Health Insurance license.
Position Overview:
• Interfaces with clients extensively to coordinate meetings, mailings, and other communications.
• Answer all incoming calls and text messages and disperse them and any messages appropriately.
• Welcome clients and visitors offering a beverage upon arrival for meetings.
• Email review and follow up as needed.
• Prepare client applications and service forms, paying careful attention to detail and accuracy.
• Monitor applications throughout the underwriting process.
• Run reports for weekly team meeting.
• Update contact management system with client contact and preference information.
• Assist advisors and associates with preparation and follow up including documentation for client meetings.
• Foster relationships with existing and new clients to ensure smooth and consistent client experience.
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
• Securities or insurance industry experience or willingness to obtain Life & health Insurance License PREFERRED
• Strong and proficient technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint)
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing
frequent interruptions
• Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
• Planning/Organizing/Prioritizing
• Client focused, outgoing personality
• Professional Grammar, Spelling and Communication (your resume will be an example of these skills)
