About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to spearhead our mission to end hunger in our community. The ideal candidate will excel as a servant-leader with a proven ability to manage complex organizations. You will play a crucial role in leading our major fundraising campaigns and must have a knack for building and maintaining relationships with donors, benefactors, and key financial supporters. Experience in fundraising, particularly with institutional funders, is essential for success in this position. Additionally, you will act as the primary spokesperson for our organization, engaging with local, state, and national legislators and officials; therefore, experience or comfort in advocacy is a must.

We seek a candidate with a deep understanding of the social factors that contribute to food insecurity, along with a commitment to providing innovative solutions to this pressing issue. Strong entrepreneurial problem-solving skills are critical, as well as a history of implementing best practices in organizational and operational management. You should be adept at managing teams through collaboration and partnership.

A bachelor's degree is required, while a master's degree is preferred. Significant experience as a senior leader in a nonprofit setting is highly valued. The successful candidate will also have experience in public speaking, fund development, financial management, personnel management, strategic planning, and working with a Board of Directors. A valid driver's license, the ability to travel, and flexibility to attend meetings and events outside of regular business hours are needed.
