We are seeking an Information Security Analyst with expertise in cloud security to join our cybersecurity team. This role is responsible for safeguarding the banks systems, applications, and data by identifying risks, responding to threats, and supporting the implementation of security best practices across both on-premises and cloud environments.

This is an in-office position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments on internal systems, vendors, and applications; recommend effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to alerts using cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, next-gen antivirus, email security tools etc.
• Participate in incident response effortscontain threats, assess impact, document findings, and support follow-up.
• Create reports and briefings for leadership with clear security recommendations.
• Perform the day-to-day operations and maintenance of cybersecurity technologies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations.
• Engage in IT audits, penetration tests, risk assessments, and compliance checks.
• Manage vulnerability scanning tools, interpret results, and assist in remediation.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining security policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• High integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and perform under pressure.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying current with emerging threats.
• Strong collaboration skills and a drive to promote security awareness across teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or completion of an accredited cybersecurity training program.
• 12 years of experience in Information Security or IT Security Operations.
• Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, incident response, and network security.
• Experience working with security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, email security gateways, SIEM, and endpoint antivirus protection.
• Experience with cloud security and cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).
• Demonstrated understanding of security controls and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
• Microsoft or other IT security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CompTia Cloud+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals).
• Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and/or red/blue team operations.
