9 month contract 8/16-5/15, 40 hours/week

Teaching load is typically 3-2

Our College of Business, which is AASCB accredited, strongly supports both research and teaching. Research resources include Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and several databases through Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) such Audit Analytics, Computat, ExecuComp, and IBES. Teaching resources include pedagogical seminars and peer evaluation programs.

Hiring Range:

$145,000+

Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.

Minimum Qualifications:

* PhD or DBA in accounting or related area with research and teaching potential

* ABD will be considered with the expectation that the degree will be completed by August 15, 2026

* Good interpersonal skills

* Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to teach financial accounting

* Must qualify as a scholarship academic under NDSU College of Business Faculty Qualification Standards

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience teaching courses in auditing and fraud

* Proven record of publications, teaching, and/or professional certification
