A Billion-Dollar Global Private Equity Firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a new Full-Time/Permanent Human Capital Coordinator to join its Portfolio Performance Solutions team and provide administrative support to the Human Capital Business Partner! The current coordinator is moving into the investment side of the business. Candidates must have a minimum of 8-10 years of applicable experience, ideally working in Human Capital or Client Services, within a private equity/financial services firm, excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills (there will be an in-person assessment as part of the interview process), strong project management experience, and a Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred/required. Ideal candidates must possess a keen ability to multi-task and prioritize and display a high level of critical thinking and emotional intelligence. Interpersonal effectiveness and discretion are key in developing the internal and external relationships necessary for success in the role, as is the desire to provide the Business Partner Team with forward-thinking, comprehensive support in their programming, recruiting, and other initiatives. A noted interest in learning the business of Human Capital and operations (specifically in the financial services) is strongly desired, as the right candidate will have the opportunity to become involved in a variety of critical HC projects. Given the entrepreneurial culture of the firm, this individual must be prepared to “roll up their sleeves” for a variety of tasks across all levels of the Business Partner Team's scope and reach! Salary depends on experience (90-125k base), plus BUILT-IN paid overtime and discretionary bonus eligibility (all-in up to 175k). Hours are 8:30am-5:30pm, with flexibility to work overtime as needed. Hybrid work schedule (4 days in office / 1 day remote). Responsibilities: Provide primary high-level administrative support to the Human Capital Business Partner, with additional support for two Principals. Schedule and organize extensive internal and external meetings, conference/video calls, interviews, and appointments; manage and maintain an extremely busy, back-to-back, and ever-changing calendar for the Partner. Coordinate all travel arrangements and detailed itineraries, including flights, hotel accommodations, car services/ground transportation, logistics, etc. Prepare, process, and submit expense reports. Support and lead on day-to-day operations and logistics for the team. Responsible for project management, including putting together PowerPoint presentations/decks/slides. Required Qualifications: Minimum 8-10 years of applicable experience, ideally working in Human Capital or Client Services, within a private equity/financial services firm. Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills (there will be an in-person assessment as part of the interview process). Analytical and quantitative orientation, including strong working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong project management experience. Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred/required. High attention to detail; a self-starter. Extremely organized and really on top of things, with strong follow-up skills. Strong and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize smoothly in a high-pressure environment. A “doer” who does not require a lot of oversight. High level of discretion/confidentiality required. Capable of engaging a diverse set of stakeholders and gaining their trust. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written). High trust and integrity – naturally engenders trust; can be counted on to do the right thing. Entrepreneurial mindset. Effective and collaborative team player, flexibility is very important.
