Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced California Senior Workers Compensation Claims Examiner to join their California team. This remote position is responsible for managing California Workers Compensation Lost Time claims from inception to closure. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of California law and hold their SIP designation. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity offering remote flexibility, medical/dental/vision/401k benefits, competitive pay, and the potential to transition to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently handle moderate to complex California Workers Compensation claims from start to resolution.
• Oversee medical treatment and billing, ensuring compliance with guidelines and appropriate cost management.
• Negotiate settlements with injured workers and their attorneys in accordance with California law.
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide excellent customer service while adhering to company best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience handling California Workers Compensation claims.
• In-depth knowledge of California Workers Compensation law.
• Proven experience managing litigated files.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelors degree preferred.
