Job Details

Fully participate in the company Safety, Food Safety, and Quality programs and attend daily pre-shift meetings. Perform all duties within compliance of OSHA, company safety, and environmental regulations (ISO where applicable); including wearing appropriate PPE for task being performed. Complete daily walk-throughs to check equipment and levels; monitor and document equipment readings. Operate production equipment and watch process for leaks or other problems; communicate process and equipment deficiencies with other operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisors. Monitor process indicators, instruments, gauges, and meters to detect and report any possible problems. Start pumps and open valves or use automated equipment to regulate the flow of oil in pipelines and into and out of tanks; monitor the amount of oil in storage tanks, and to verify that activities and operations are safe, efficient, and in compliance with regulations.
