Position Overview

Sanford Health is seeking an Inpatient Pediatric Psychologist to join our team. Psychologists are a vital part of our care team and play a key role in our comprehensive care model. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a self-driven psychologist with leadership aspirations to develop and enhance specialized programs within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Team Composition

The team includes one experienced inpatient pediatric psychologist and a robust outpatient team of 6 Psychologists, 5 Psychiatrists, Masters Level Therapists, and Integrated Health Therapists.

Facility Details

Sanford Childrens Hospital is a 72-bed facility located within Sanfords general hospital, supporting General Pediatrics, Pediatric Oncology, Pediatric ICU, and Neonatal ICU, including:

• Support for the Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Pediatric Palliative Care Program
• Patients with chronic diseases
• Universal Screening Program
• Multidisciplinary team rounding
• Early intervention for life-altering diagnoses
• Adolescent suicide needs
• Inpatient autism spectrum disorder support
• Therapy groups for patients and families
• Partnerships with the Childrens Advocacy Center
