As an intern, responsibilities may include some or all of the following:Assist with plan specifications and estimates as well as documenting construction activities. Assist with AutoCAD Civil 3 D drawings and update redlines with various project set drawings. Operate electronic survey instruments such as GPS and Total Station. Perform work in a variety of software such as AutoCAD Civil 3 D, Micro. Station, ArcGIS, etc. Potential observation and data collection at different types of project sites. This may include learning how to do roadway design, geometric layout, drainage analysis, and erosion control. Qualifications. Enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering, or related Engineering program.
