Base pay range

$123,600.00/yr - $162,300.00/yr

As a Mechanical Estimating Professional within our Advanced Manufacturing team, youll serve as a leader and technical expert in estimating primarily emphasizing mechanical equipment, piping, and air systems. Youll develop and execute estimating strategies that support the overall proposal strategy for project requirements, foster relationships with project team members to coordinate deliverables and provide guidance, review RFPs and project contracts, identify risk areas, participate in mitigation planning, and mentor less experienced personnel.

Heres what youll need

  • Minimum fifteen years progressive experience with increasing responsibility in an estimating role for industrial project execution or a project management role executing industrial projects in the field.
  • Estimating and construction experience in mechanical disciplines in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with Cost?OS, Sage Estimating (Timberline), or similar estimating software platforms.
  • Demonstrated understanding of estimating organizational structure and process, including quantity takeoff, crew development, productivity relationships, material quotations, contingency/risk, markup structures and estimate documentation.
  • Experience mentoring junior staff.

Ideally, youll also have
  • Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, project management or a related technical field.
  • Professional experience within the markets of EV/Batteries, Data Centers, and/or Pulp & Paper.
  • Proficiency in quantitative risk analysis using software such as @Risk and Monte Carlo.
  • Experience with Aspen CCE or other parametric tools.
  • Active membership in AACE, PMI, or similar association.
