We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee operations within a mechanical manufacturing and fabrication shop based in Fargo, ND. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic setting and enjoys bringing structure, precision, and efficiency to complex mechanical projects.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Manage multiple fabrication projects from planning through delivery, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure accurate fabrication and on-time completion.
  • Oversee daily shop operations including scheduling, production flow, and resource management.
  • Review project specifications and drawings to maintain compliance with codes and client expectations.
  • Manage budgets, cost tracking, and change orders to maintain financial control.
  • Supervise and mentor shop personnel while promoting a strong safety and quality culture.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction.

Who We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in mechanical fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial construction.
  • Solid understanding of piping systems, welding processes, and fabrication methods.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with project management and scheduling tools (MS Project, Procore, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, API, ASTM, AWS) and a strong safety focus.
