Full-Time Residential Coordinator
Our Options program has a wide range of services available for people with disabilities who need less-than-24-hour care. These services are catered to individuals and families of all ages, to assist them in accomplishing specific goals so they can lead a more independent and fulfilling life through Individualized Home Supports, Semi-Independent Living Services, Respite Services, or Homemaking Services.
The Residential Coordinator ensures a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for individuals with disabilities in their home setting. They oversee daily provision of care to clients, managing team members, an assigned caseload, and provide direct care, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering an atmosphere that promotes independence and dignity. Through effective leadership and collaboration, this role promotes program excellence, and the overall well-being of those served.
Qualifications include one of the following:
(1) a baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or people aged 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children; OR
(2) an associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children; OR
(3) a diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited post-secondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children; OR
(4) a minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; AND
Four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in clauses (1) to (3).
Supervisory experience preferred.
