As an Audit Manager at Widmer Roel, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing commercial audit engagements, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their concerns and providing strategic guidance.

• Perform risk assessment and develop audit plans to address potential issues.
• Review financial statements and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including webcasts and conferences, to enhance expertise in commercial audits.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulations to provide expert guidance to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with a minor in accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
• Exceptional technical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
