OVERVIEW:

Work closely with service, sales and vendors to provide world class experience to our customers. This individual will be responsible for making adjustments in the ERP system as necessary to ensure adequate and accurate inventory orders, price files, and returns are maintained. Communicate with parts managers and parts sales representatives to establish proper inventory stocking levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bring a great attitude and work as part of a great team
  • Perform price tape file uploads in ERP system as they become available
  • Maintain and setup new price tape layouts for price tape files in ERP system
  • Set up new sources and price book factors as needed
  • Clean up fixed locations as needed
  • Setup of new parts in ERP in managers' absence
  • Review and process part change request forms submitted by Parts Managers
  • Assists with necessary system changes to inventory based on vendor lead-times, safety stock requirements and min/max changes
  • Run report and verify accuracy of new part setups by Parts Managers
  • Set up new locations in ERP, clean up old locations no longer used
  • Research inventory discrepancies and makes proper adjustments as necessary
  • Understand all manufacturing return policies and assist Parts department with reports to complete returns
  • Responsible for accurate and efficient completion of all cycle inventory counts at all locations
  • Assist Parts department with vendor annual returns by supplying appropriate reports for return
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Inventory Control Manager
  • Create user logins in manufacture systems
  • Perform stock uploads to vendor sites
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2-year Accounting Degree or degree in related field required, with an accounting background
  • Superior organization, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Must be acutely aware of the balance relationship that exists between inventory carrying costs and acceptable customer service levels
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment managing multiple projects/priorities to meet specific goals and deadlines
  • An above average computer comfort level to work with Excel, MS Outlook, and experience working in a Windows environment
  • Requires a valid driver's license and the ability to maintain an insurable driving record
  • Travel required
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written to all levels of employees
  • Attain short and long-term objectives through good management and planning
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Should be personable, highly motivated, a problem solver, ethical, and able to adapt to all forces around them - customers, suppliers, coworkers, and manufacturers
  • Should have solid equipment and parts knowledge
  • Must have a positive mental attitude, self-motivated, goal oriented, highly energetic, positive, and outgoing
Pay Range: $25/HR-$30/HR DOE
