The Clay County Public Health Department is now accepting applications to be considered for an open position as a Variable Hour Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

Application Deadline: Open until filled.

Salary: $32.08-$45.25 per hour

Shifts: Flexible hours including weekdays and rotating weekends. The hours worked will typically be 19 hours or less per week.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor
• 1-3 years of related work experience
• Successfully complete a background check
• Must be free of chemical use problems for 2 years

1. Conduct chemical use screening on all clients.
2. Provide resources and referrals.
3. Complete required documentation.
4. Complete comprehensive assessments when needed.
