Job DescriptionJob Description

Northwest Excavating, a local construction company, is hiring a maintenance assistant to work with our mechanic and equipment operators. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with the potential for overtime during the construction season. Acceptable driving record required to allow candidate to operate company vehicles, with a CDL Class A license a plus. The individual should be self-motivated and willing to multi-task.

Duties will include organizing and cleaning the company shop and yard. The individual will assist with fleet maintenance and picking up parts. Washing and detailing construction equipment and vehicles. Assisting equipment operators and drivers as needed. Includes other duties as necessary. Must work independently and maintain a safe and clean work environment. Communicate effectively, monitor and discuss problems with co-workers/managers/supervisors.

This is a full-time position with benefits available. Hourly rate depends on experience.
