Role Overview:
This is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year-round.
This position is responsible to safely assign appropriate equipment and personnel for completion of duties or deliveries to assure on time and efficient use of resources by dispatching trucks and personnel in a timely manner to ensure the targeted service level and cost. In addition to dispatching, responsible for weighing trucks and assist with customer needs and pit functions. Will need to display a professional and courteous attitude with customers and team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
As a successful Dispatcher you will have:
- General computer skills; including Outlook, Work, and Excel.
- General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.
- Ability to hold and maintain a license in accordance with all state regulations is preferred.
- One year of telephone service or order taking in a business environment; Dispatch experience preferred.
