Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a locally owned company in Fargo, ND. We are seeking candidates for Packer roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for this contract position is $20.00 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!

What a Packer will do:

• Assemble and construct gaylord boxes/bulk boxes for packing products
• Follow guidelines for proper product sequencing and scanning
• Mark or label packaging or products as required
• Prepare products and materials for shipment with secure, organized packaging
• Monitor production for inconsistencies and report concerns to the supervisor
• Identify and remove defective products or materials
• Count and sequence finished screens accurately
• Resolve minor production issues and escalate significant problems
• Transport prepared packages to the staging area for export
• Operate hand tools and hand-operated pallet jacks as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in good working order
• Follow all 5S principles to optimize workflow and maintain cleanliness
• Participate in safety training and comply with all PPE and safety guidelines
• Work collaboratively and cross-train with team members to boost productivity
• Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management
