About Us:

Foss Architecture + Interiors is a leading architecture firm in healthcare, colleges & universities, K-12 schools, civic & government, corporate offices, multi-family residential, sports facilities, churches, hospitality, historic/adaptive reuse, retail and more. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Project Architect.

Required Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited university
• 2+ years of experience in an architecture office
• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office
• Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape is preferred but not required
• Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of building systems, construction codes, and detailing
• Licensed or actively pursuing architectural licensure

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design and documentation process from concept through construction.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and team members to develop creative, buildable design solutions.
• Produce and oversee detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure design intent and technical quality are maintained through all project phases.
• Conduct code reviews and coordinate with regulatory agencies as required.
• Participate in design presentations, client meetings, and project reviews.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to meet client and firm expectations.
• Support construction administration activities, including site visits, RFIs, and submittal reviews.
