Collective and Great States Companies are looking for their next Marketing team member. Collective and Great States are real estate acquisition and development, construction, and management organizations that work together to fulfill the greater good of our communities by developing, building, and managing places you can call home. As the Content Specialist, you'll focus on driving our social media strategy across multiple brands, creating engaging website content, and owning internal and external communications for our teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Content Creation Management:

• Work closely with the Director of Marketing to create and maintain social media strategy for multiple brands across social channels
• Develop compelling and visually appealing content (including graphics, videos, and written posts) tailored to each social media platform
• Capture and create an asset library for all brands

Internal and External Communication:

• Develop and execute communication guidelines to maintain a strong and positive presence for the companies
• Create, edit, and proofread a variety of written content, including emails, blogs, newsletters, reports, and marketing materials
• Ensure brand consistency in all internal and external communications
• Prepare and execute communication plans in the event of a crisis or emergency

Media and Public Relations:

• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers
• Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other public relations materials
• Monitor and respond to media inquiries and coverage

Analytics and Optimization:

• Monitor, track, and report on key performance metrics for social media across brands and industries
• Analyze campaign results
• Track social and industry trends

Skills:

• Copywriting
• Photo and video editing
• Social media reporting
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms

Job Requirement:

• 2-3 years of relevant job experience
• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Travel 15% domestic
• Project management experience a plus
• Organized self-starter
• Interest in SEO
• Flexible and adaptable to changing timelines and priorities
