Are you a skilled diesel mechanic looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? If so, Acme Equipment is looking for you to join our team as a Mobile Service Technician in Fargo, ND.

Our brand new Acme Equipment location is easy to access within the Fargo area and features a climate-controlled, clean, and modern facility equipped with the latest shop technology and diagnostic tools to help you do your best work.

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) during our hours of operation

Pay: $33+/hour (based on experience) and $5,000 sign on bonus for qualifying candidates.

Your Role as a Mobile Service Technician

As a Mobile Service Technician, you'll take your expertise on the road to maintain and repair both customer-owned and rental equipment. You'll keep projects moving by making sure every machine is reliable and job-site ready. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing service repairs and maintenance to rental or customer-owned equipment
• Clearly communicating with customers on the status of repairs and with the Parts department to ensure parts are ordered and received in a timely manner
• Accurately recording materials used and hours worked on job assignments
• Maintaining a clean work environment for each project, keeping indoor and outdoor workstations clear from obstructions, and service vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment in good working condition
• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity
• Completing related tasks as assigned

What We're Looking For

• A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons
• Ability to cross train in other repair areas and help work on anything sold at Acme Equipment

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Stand and walk for the majority of your shift
• Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
