Description:

S&L Hospitality, along with this location, are seeking an individual to work as a member of our Maintenance team while will be responsible for general maintenance of guest rooms, building facilities or grounds as directed. Ideal candidates will be able to work during the business demands of the position, hours may be as early as 7am and as late as 11pm, more clarification can be provided upon an interview, able to work with little supervision, attention to detail, organized, reliable, and a team player.

Key Requirements/ Qualifications may include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to work with little supervision, is detail orientated and able to remain focused.
  • Ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to push/pull/bend/lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs.
  • frequently.
  • Previous experience with building maintenance and working knowledge of heating/cooling and plumbing is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a composed, approachable and professional attitude.
  • High School Diploma/GED minimum, preferably continuing education beyond high school.
  • Strong mathematical skills.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain an organized maintenance workshop and storerooms.
  • Respond to maintenance requests with positive attitude, must be flexible as business demands may alter your assignments.
  • Become familiar and knowledgeable with hotel's safety policies and emergency procedures.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure prompt repairs.
  • May be required to assist with snow removal, basic landscaping or assisting in other departments such as removing trash, arranging furniture, etc.
  • Inspect, repair and replace damaged or warn items such as heating/cooling units, dry wall, light fixtures or plumbing.

This position is such to successful completion of a background check as it relates to the responsibilities of the role and safety of our guests and team.
